Brad loved his family so much. Here is a photo of Emily whispering to her dad. Maybe giving him tips for the grill?

Raising a glass to an amazing man. Friend, coworker, comedian. So many great memories. From playing “the meow game” from Supertroopers on a car stop, to a last minute Stones/Metallica concert, and laughs. So many laughs. He will be missed is a huge understatement.
Tammy Pires, Lori Pires and I celebrated Brad today at Trinidad Pier for lunch and a toast. We threw flowers into the ocean in his memory. Brad was a remarkable man and friend. He gave the best hugs and always had a funny story to tell to make everyone laugh. We will remember him always and will hold the memories of him in our hearts! We love you Brad, until we meet again💕
Brad. I will miss your engulfing bear hugs. Your laugh. Your smile. Your hot toddies, best I ever had. I’m so glad we got to spend time together living on the same street for a while in Santa Rosa as adults. I got to see the amazing father and husband you are. This is just surreal. I still can’t believe you’re gone. I’ve always been in awe of the family that you’ve made. Thank you for showing me how to love my family fiercely. I love you Brad. I’ll miss you.
My first memory of Brad was walking with him down the aisle in my stepmom. Mom and dad’s wedding. I don’t like calling her my stepmom just so you all know. She’s my mom. Anyhow… I was a freshman and sophomore at Eureka High and Brad and Dave Hoff where in elementary school across the street. I believe it was Marshall Elementary. My lunch hour coincided with one of their recess breaks. Those two liked to stir the pot so Brad could say my cousin’s coming and she’s in high school and she’s going to kick your butt. So every day I would make a big show of it. Hahaha. I haven’t seen Brad in many years. But my son have the joy of spending time with him and getting to know him and his family. I’m so thankful for that. Till I see you on the other side my cousin. Look over your family look over all of us. I love you so very much
One year my sister Margaret and I were part of a family weekend camping trip. Brad was camp cook. (Why are we not surprised?) My sister had a special diet and Brad took care always to make something she could eat. She never forgot his kindness. We spent time remembering him tonight though we had to had to do it by phone.
I still can’t believe Brad is gone! We had a pretty tight not crew back in the Pine Hill days and to this day we all are still very fond of each other and had a bond that kids these days don’t know a lot about. Riding skate boards, bikes, climbing trees and fences, mud football in the field at the school, hide and seek under the street lights till it was time for dinner. Brad was always a nice guy…. even as a kid…. I remember him and Dave being the best friend duo like no other! I still have my beat friend from back them too and always thought it was special they held on to each other as well. I hope his family can find peace in knowing he had a special place in everyone’s heart who’s path he came across and he was loved my so many!
Brad was a fine person, the kind of person who attracted your attention when he walked into the room. He was overloaded with kind energy, enough for his family and friends, with plenty left over for his community, whether it was Eureka, Santa Rosa, or Albany. I will try to post some photos of Brad. If the photos captions don’t work out, you will likely know the people in the pics. Godspeed, Brad. Rest in peace. I know you will have the grill going when we meet on the other side.
We have heard stories from Sheron and know of Brad’s beautiful family, Brad’s integrity, and the bond that he and Sheron share. We know he is deeply loved and will be deeply missed.
Too many stories. Can’t talk right now.
