For a multitude of reasons, Brad is my hero. As a police detective, his work with victims of abuse certainly makes him a hero, but there’s so much more than that too. As a fellow father, I valued his advice and support so much as well. Brad got me involved with him on the Albany Safety Foundation and we were looking forward to doing more to support APD programs with youth in our community. I will continue to do that work in honor of Brad.
On a less serious, albeit important note, I was never really a Halloween guy… until I went to the Conners’ Halloween party. My favorite memory is hearing Brad sing “Love Shack” on karaoke… and absolutely killing it.
I will miss the laughs, and the wisdom, and seeing his passion for community, his family, and his friends.
